Introducing AI Brand Insights: Know Exactly Where You Stand in the Media
Category: Product Updates
We built a real-time analytics dashboard that tells you your AEO score, how your competitors are covered versus you, where your narrative has momentum, and what your homepage signals to AI crawlers.
Most companies doing PR have no idea whether it's working. They send pitches, get some coverage, publish a press release, and then wait. The question "are we actually building a media presence?" doesn't have a clear answer because there's been no clear place to look.
We built that place.
The AI Brand Insights Dashboard
Available now in Portfolio plans, the AI Brand Insights dashboard gives you a live reading of your brand's position in the media landscape across four dimensions.
AEO Score: How Visible You Are to AI Search
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the emerging practice of making sure your brand surfaces correctly when someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or another AI assistant about your category.
Your AEO score is a 0-to-100 rating of how well your brand answers three questions that AI models use to assess authority: Does your brand appear in authoritative sources? Is there consistent, accurate information about what you do? When someone searches for what you offer, does your brand surface?
The dashboard calculates your AEO score and breaks it down by subcategory, so you know exactly where you're strong and where you need more coverage. A founder who knows their AEO score is 62 and that the gap is in topical authority — not brand awareness — knows precisely what kind of content and PR work will move that number.
Competitor Snapshot: How You Compare
The Competitor Snapshot shows the coverage level of each of your named competitors — whether their media presence is Active, Moderate, Low, or Absent relative to the categories you share.
This is the answer to a question every PR-aware founder has: are my competitors getting more press than I am, and in what channels? The snapshot gives you a real data point instead of an impression.
Coverage Recap: What's Been Written About You
The Coverage Recap surfaces recent media mentions of your brand, organized by outlet and date, so you can see what's being written without manually running Google alerts and cross-referencing spreadsheets.
Narrative Momentum: Is Your Story Gaining or Losing Ground?
Narrative Momentum tracks whether your brand's media presence is trending up or down over a trailing window. A brand with strong momentum is compounding — each piece of coverage builds on the last. A brand with low momentum is treading water.
Knowing which one you are changes how you allocate PR time. If momentum is strong, you double down on the narrative that's working. If it's flat, you know the current approach isn't building the compounding effect and it's time to try a different angle.
Homepage Crawl Signal: What AI Sees When It Visits Your Site
The Homepage Crawl signal tells you what an AI crawler learns when it visits your website. This matters because AI models read your website when forming their understanding of your brand. If your homepage doesn't clearly signal who you serve, what problem you solve, and why you're credible, that gap shows up in your AEO score.
The crawl gives you a specific, actionable read: here is what AI currently understands about your brand from your homepage, and here is what's missing.
