Google User Data
24HRPR allows users to connect their Google (Gmail) account to send pitch emails directly to journalists from within the platform. When you choose to connect your Google account, we request only the permissions necessary to send email on your behalf.
What Google Data We Access
We request access to the Gmail "send" scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send) solely to send outreach emails that you compose and authorize within 24HRPR. We do not read, index, store, or analyze the contents of your Gmail inbox or any other email data beyond what is necessary to deliver the emails you explicitly instruct us to send.
How We Use Google User Data
We use your Google account connection only to: (1) send pitch emails to journalists on your behalf when you initiate a media outreach campaign, and (2) display your connected email address so you know which account is being used. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond sending the emails you request. We do not share your Google account data with third parties, sell it, or use it to train AI models.
How We Store and Protect Google Credentials
OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely in our database, encrypted at rest, and used solely to fulfill your email send requests. Tokens are never exposed to other users. We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS in transit and access controls on our infrastructure.
Revoking Google Access
You can disconnect your Google account from 24HRPR at any time from your account settings. You can also revoke access directly from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access will immediately prevent 24HRPR from sending any further emails via your Gmail account.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy
