Dateline Formatting

Every professional press release opens with a dateline: city in ALL CAPS, state abbreviation properly capitalized. 24HRPR now enforces this format on every release, so your dateline always reads BOSTON, MA or SAN FRANCISCO, CA, exactly as wire services and journalists expect.

No Repeated Release Date in the Body

A common AI writing issue: the release date gets mentioned in the dateline and then repeated awkwardly in the body text. The AI now knows to leave the date out of the body, avoiding the redundancy that marks an AI-generated draft.

Draft Title Uses the Headline

Previously, new drafts were titled using the company name. Now the draft title uses the actual press release headline, so your list of drafts tells you what each release is about at a glance.

Smarter Quote Attribution

If a speaker name isn't provided, the AI now falls back to the media contact's name for quote attribution. No more anonymous quotes or empty attribution lines in the generated draft.

Streamlined Wizard

The creation wizard was reorganized: announcement type now appears at the top, and the headquarters fields are simplified. Fewer clicks to get to the part where the AI does the work.

Embargoed Releases and Outreach

Clickable Social Handles
